What: T767 Annual Turkey Dutch Oven Camping Extravaganza - November 11- 13th , 2011.

When: Fri 11/11/11 (1st Wave depart LCH ~4:00 pm and 2nd Wave depart LCH ~6:30 pm) - Sun 11/13 (return LCH ~ 1:00 pm)
Where: Scout Island Campsite at Old Fort Lupton, just west of HWY 85 on CR 14 ½ - Ft. Lupton, CO
Theme: Mountain Man Rendezvous, Patrol competition for theme dress, spirit, tent inspection, skits and songs
Activities: Rifle Shooting (Boy Scouts Only) , Archery, Tomahawk Throwing, Orienteering, GeoCaching, Mountain Man Game Patrol Competitions.
Tour of the just totally completed 1850’s Era -Trading Fort.
And YES – The “MOOSE HUNT” is planned for Friday night – Scouting prize for catching the last Moose on the Loose!
Fires: Campfires and charcoal cooking are allowed for a sumptuous Thanksgiving Feast. We will be dining in the Old Ft. Lupton Great Hall.
Scout Eq: All scouts will need their 10 essentials and proper Cold Weather Campout Gear.
Weather: November could be sunny and 60ºF or Snowy and 20ºF – Be Prepared.

Permission Slips and Payments: Permission Slips will be on the Troop website under Events – November Outing.
Payments and Pm. Slips will be due by the November 1st Troop meeting.
Registration will be closed that evening to endorse our T767 Event Planner guide lines.
