Just the same as the past 5 or 6 years, we will again do our December campout at the YMCA of the Rockies - Snow Mountain Ranch, on December 9th to December 11th.
The cost of this year's event will be $75.00 per person (SAME AS LAST YEAR !!!), which includes the two nights accommodations in the YMCA lodge, cracker barrel on Friday night, Breakfast and Dinner on Saturday, and Breakfast on Sunday. There will be opportunities for everyone to downhill ski at Winter Park, do some tubing, or either cross country ski or snowshoe at the YMCA. The costs of ski rentals or snowshoes, lunch on Saturday, and lift tickets are not included in the $75.00 camping fee. You are responsible for any spending money and we are requiring a $5.00 (cash) gasoline stipend to be paid to your driver the night we leave town.
The YMCA is doing some construction and this is the only weekend in December that they can accommodate us, so I have asked them to pencil us in for those dates. I have to provide a final count by November 9th. Due to the way that the reservations process works with the YMCA we need to do our planning and RSVPs over the next few weeks and put in a deposit. We are requiring a $25.00 non refundable deposit paid by 11/08/2011, with the remaining $50.00 balance due by 12/6/11. Space is limited, so please sign up and pay your deposit in the next few weeks!
We will be staying in the YMCA lodge (inside - no sleeping bags or tents needed).
We will have permission slips and a sign up sheet at the troop meetings between now and 11/08/2011.
